A & K Rail Materials
Title:  A & K Rail Materials
Description:  Since the software is defaulting to the 44 tonner, let me state that this is actually a Plymouth, about 30 tons or so. Coupled to a rail train at the A&K yard, it looks to be operable.

Worlds Shiniest Geep?
Title:  Worlds Shiniest Geep?
Description:  Shortline chasing on Memorial Day weekend brought me to Higginsville. 6225 serves the grain elevator, and it looks like they must wash and wax this sucker regularly. So shiny it threw off the shutter speed on the camera.

Alco on a trailer
Title:  Alco on a trailer
Description:  The ASV had this S4 donated by the power plant outside of Joplin, MO. Their solution was to build a heavy-haul trailer and truck it themselves. I'm around railroad preservation groups a lot, and the most common thing I hear is "we can't do it, too hard, too expensive, etc etc". Yet this small group in Abilene can build their own trailer and truck a full-size engine several hundred miles.
