A single locomotive providing electricity for an entire train AND motive power over 1,200 miles all by itself is quite an impressive feat considering the age of these locomotive. Well done, GE!

Description:  AMTK 55 rips into the clearing along the southern edge of the Ridgefield bottom lands skirting north to a series of crossings - the engineer gave us a couple friendly toots. (thanks to both AMTK 55 and BNSF 899 crews - you made my sons day with the quick horn toots and auto-ditch lights flicking up. He had been feeling a little low (bit on the sick side), but that quick succession of excitement perked him up more than any other medication hes on - thank you.)
