Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8941, an FS-20M built by Fairbanks-Morse in April of 1951, rated at 2,000 horsepower, and retired in September of 1967 after just 16 years of revenue service. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Diesels On The Pennsylvania" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (819-10). |
