PRR 9489, FF-20, c. 1963 |
Description: |
Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide showing (L to R) Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9489 and several other units whose numbers are not recorded. #9489 is an FF-20 built by Fairbanks-Morse in November of 1948, rated at 2,000 horsepower, and retired in December of 1963 after just 15 years of revenue service. Looks to me like quittin' time! The photographer's name, the date, and the location are not recorded. Produced and distributed by FJC Products of Newport, Delaware. ("LouisFols"; #30 of 31) |
