Here is a photo via Charles E. Winters that was taken near Chicago, Illinois, in August of 1946. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5503, a T-1 (4-4-4-4) "Duplex" built in Juniata during November of 1945 and retired in December of 1953 after just eight years of revenue service.
