Description:  CB&Q XM-33B 24342, Cicero, Illinois, October 1979, photo by Chuck Zeiler. This was one of 350 class XM-33B's built at CB&Q's Havelock, Nebraska shops during 1956 (#'s 24000-24349). It had been shopped somtime after mid-1968 but before the March 2, 1970 merger. It is seen here in the pre-merger paint scheme. This car has been downgraded to Hide Loading Only, which is generally as low as it can get before scrapping.
