| Despite its reputation as being pool table flat, western Kansas is more rolling, however gently. The 4014 rolls through a sag near Wallace. US 40 is adjacent, and much less crowded than its farther east counterparts, largely due to the remoteness of the region. Traffic really thinned out west of Oakley as chasers cut off the effort. It would be a lot less stressful all the way to Kit Carson. |
