| The crew of Canadian Pacific 2-6-0 #3011 take a moment to pose on their great looking loco. History - CP New Shops in Montreal, 8/1888 nee-CP 1261 Specs - serial #1088, class J2A, 57" drivers, 190 psi boiler pressure, 18x24" cylinders, modest engine weight of 100,000 lb,modest tractive effort of 20,872 lb.The loco was rebuilt a couple of times during its span of service. The locomotive was finally scrapped in October of 1954 after nearly 66 years of dedicated service. This is a J.R. Quinn photo. |
