Back for another load of coal at the Bullskin Tipple. Here the train is almost at the end of the Southwest Pennsylvania Railroad line in Connellsville. Every few minutes it would shove the cars back a little more as they are getting filled up. WE 111 was acquired by the Wheeling and Lake Erie in 1997 and rebuilt to a GP35-3 in May 2010. Built as DRGW 3045 in January 1965. has the name W.J. Holtman on the hood. He was president of the Denver Rio Grande and Western Railroad in the 1980s. Many former executives from the DRGW are now on the W&LE. Also before this was painted last year it still had Rio Grande on the side. |
