According to the book, 'From Horsecars To Streamliners, An Illustrated History Of The Saint Louis Car Company', Number 128 was built in September 1925 as B&O 6007 but was rejected. The body was by Saint Louis Car Company (order number 1386B) and was powered by a Winton 106A gasoline engine (c/n 363) which produced 220 horsepower. The electrical equipment was supplied by GE. It was rebuilt and sold in February 1928 to Lehigh Valley as number 15. As built it weighed 40 tons, 59 foot length, had a baggage section, and could seat 49 people. It was sold to SRS in March 1939, becoming number 128. |
