Looking in pretty bad shape is this example of a 1905 Baldwin built Consoildation. Definitely looks like it is in the scrap line after serving nearly 30 years. Specifics - class H-6a, 55" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 21"x28" cylinders, engine weight of 174,500 lb, tractive effort of 38,167 lb. Sid Davies photo |
