L&N Depot at Columbia         
The former L&N depot at Columbia TN. In 1955 the station still worked two Cincinnati-Montgomery passenger trains a day, the all-stops locals 2/3. At the same time name trains, like the Humming Bird and Pan-American took the Lewisburg line, which runs about 12 miles to the east and survives as a CSX mainline. The two branches spreading south of Columbia are now operated by the Tennessee Southern RR.
