| 3500 test runs out of 5000 through the new Gotthard Basis Tunnel are successfully acomplished. Here a standard scheduled train with passengers take the 57 km / 34.5 miles tunnel route. On Nov. 14th was the first day, when almost all daily trains run through the tunnel, alltogether 88 pax and freight trains. On Dez. 11th the tunnel will be officially certified for operation and will be standard connection between the North and South of Switzerland. |
