H&S NW2 1051         
Hartford & Slocomb NW2 1051 was built in July 1947 as Southern Railway 2260 and was renumbered 1051 in 1972. It was retired in 1982 and was sold to the H&S the following year via Birmingham Rail & Locomotive, and subsequently went to the Wiregrass Central as a parts source.

Dave Curtis General Thanks for the information on this! I just started doing a little research into the H&S. Apparently a successor type company still uses the HS reporting marks for a fleet of nearly 2,000 boxcars. 3/19/2017 7:52:58 AM
