Cairo Rail Bridge
This bridge carries the Canadian National Railway across the Ohio River between Cairo, IL and Wickliffe, KY. The original bridge was built by the Illinois Central in 1887. The present bridge was built in 1952, but some of the original 1887 piers were utilized. GM&O trains also used this bridge up until the ICG merger.
