Here is an original photo by Douglas C. Jones that was taken in Orangeville, Maryland, c. 1953. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #4733, #4706, and #4727. All are P-5A (2-C-2) "Box Cabs" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works and rated at 3,750 horsepower each. #4733 was built in January of 1933 and retired in March of 1964; #4706 was constructed in October of 1932 and retired in April of 1961; #4727 was built in December of 1932 and retired in March of 1963. |
