Byerly. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Fred Byerly that was taken in East Peoria, Illinois, c. 1967. The photographer is not identified. Photo Caption: "EMD GP-9B #3808, 1750-hp, at East Peoria, Ill." Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #3808-B and #7269. Both are EFS-17M road switchers built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,750 horsepower each. #3808-B was built as number "7183-B" in November of 1957 and renumbered "3808-B" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. #7269 was built in December of 1959 and was the very last GP-9 purchased by the PRR.
