Stations. Here is an original 35mm color slide by Mr. H.E. Brouse that was taken in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on 18 September 1983. Shown here is Conrail engine #9072, an SW-7 switcher built by GM-EMD as Pennsylvania Railroad number "9392" in May of 1950, rated at 1,200 horsepower, and renumbered "9072" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. Prominent at the left is the former Railway Express Office. |
