Portraits 4. Here is a steam locomotive portrait via F.R. Kern that was taken in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, c. 1947. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #76, an A-5S (0-4-0) switcher built in Juniata during January of 1917 and retired in October of 1948 after 31 years of faithful service. (#1 of 40)
