Here is a photo by J.S. Rice that was taken at the 46th Street Enginehouse in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, during December of 1957. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #4191 and several others whose road numbers are not recorded. #4191 is a B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built in Juniata during October of 1917 and retired in October of 1958 after 41 years of faithful service. Note that their main rods have been removed, so they've been prepared for movement to the recycling center. ("JpsPcc6992" A; #1 of 6) |
