As soon as G456 passed, IC Dispatch allowed maintenance crews onto the Indy Line. The LSL still hadnt passed through yet. A Facebook friend who was on the IC desk this morning told me that she had not had IORY key her up so I knew there was no way they couldve gone through. I decided to go north to see if they had at least left Lima. I got no further than two miles out of Quincy and boom! There it was! They had gotten immediate clearance over the CSX, so I raced back to the diamond to get them passing the signal. Todays leader was IORY 3489, followed by 3 Railtex Red SD40-2s including the tunnel motor 2nd. What I wouldve done to have seen the tunnel motor on the point, but I will settle for the 3489. |
