Sitting in a Flint, Michigan yard is Pere Marquette 2-8-4 Berkshire #1211 built by Lima in September of 1937 (serial #7747, class N). The loco had its drivers upgraded from 69" to 70" in 1946. One year later (1947), PM 1211 slid onto the C&O roster as their #2695 and held on until being scrapped in April of 1953. Final specs - 70" drivers, impressive 245 psi boiler pressure, 26x34" cylinders, engine weight of 445,500 lb, tractive effort of 69,350 lb, with booster adding 14,400 lb.
