This car had a CAPY of 100,000 pounds, a LD LMT of 123,400 pounds and a LT TW of 45,600 pounds, for a gross rail load of 169,000 pounds. It was one of 1500 X-43a class cars in the 602000-603499 series that was built under American Car & Foundry Lot No. 3476 between December 1950 and February 1951.
