Big Boy 4004 simmers in the yard at Laramie. The big 4-8-8-4 will soon depart on yet another long freight haul out of town. 4004 is the oldest Big Boy still in existance today. It was donated to the city of Cheyenne, Wyoming in June 1963, just a month after sister unit 4003 was cut up at Geneva, Utah.
