| Another VIRM double decker train is arriving at the Amsterdam Central Station. NS (Nederlandse Spoorwegen - Dutch Rwy) operates this VIRM double decker train in the Netherlands. "VIRM" stands for Verlengd InterRegio Materieel (Lengthened interregional rolling stock) which are coupled EMU cars. This particular VIRM is a first generation after its predecessor DD-IRM model and were built starting in 2002 and is a short trainset of only 4 cars compared to others that have 6 cars. |
