PRR 670, B-6SB, 1946
Here is a photo via Forrest W. Trittenbach that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, c. 1946. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #670, a B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built in Juniata during March of 1916 and retired in April of 1950 after 34 years of faithful service. In this context, it's parked on Track #1, at the junction of 10th Avenue and 16th Street. The "tell-tails" pictured at the far left are located just East of the 17th Street Bridge.
