RDG 90847, this was at one time used as a Locomotive Engineer Mobile Training Unit (L.E.M.T.U.) as a rolling classroom and used during the transition from steam to diesel power and to train engineers on the new control systems used on diesel engines. This car wsa originally built as a standard passenger coach in 1913 and convereted by Reading Shop forces to be used as a classroom/training facility being able to be pulled in a train to provide instruction on teh new equipment. It was donated the RCT&HS by Conrail in 1988 . It contains simulated control stands for both first and second generation diesels, has its onw stweam bolier for heat and classroom space. It was originally painted in the Reading passenger car scheme of Pullman Green with yellow lettering.
