Description:
Joe Stauber photo. In 1963, many of these RS3's swapped their road trucks for Blunt trucks from retired S2's. The smaller traction motors on the Blunt trucks caused the horsepower rating to be decreased to 1200HP. The RS3 road trucks were used on the new GP30's. This is the second #466 and wore 4 different numbers during its Milwaukee Road career: 2479, 454, 463, 466.
