Description:  Here is another example of the powerful yet sleek 4-8-4 Northern type locomotive built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in September of 1943 for the Canadian National. Built for speed, this loco headed up many passenger trains until being scrapped in September of 1961 after just 18 years service.
