Rolling for Halifax |
Description: |
The eastbound freight has done its work at Edmundston and is now rolling again with 92 cars. As usual, the sun has gone just far enough that the shot is not well lit. Good power, shot it anyway. Now off to dinner and the Journeys End. |

Modern Alco |
Description: |
This HR 616 leads 102 cars west through Dorval in the company of a couple of GP40-2LWs. The HR 616 was a Bombardier engine produced at the same time as the M420s, and was intended to revive the Alco design in the railroad industry. It didnt work out so well, and only a few were built, all for CN. |
