Album Info:Here is a two-page article entitled "The Broadway Gets Its 50-Year Button." It was published originally in the July 1952 issue of "Pennsy" magazine, pages 6-7. No author is specified. "Today's two Broadway trains, the eastbound No. 28 and the westbound No. 29, cost a total of $4,614,000. That's just twenty-two times as much as the Railroad paid for the two trains that started the Broadway run fifty years ago." (Page 7)

Left-Hand Photo: Shown here is F.W. Blauvelt's photo of the "Pennsylvania Special" passing through Jersey City, New Jersey, on 15 June 1902. It's powered by engine #1395, a D-16A (4-4-0) "American" built in Juniata during May of 1898, rebuilt as a D-16 in October of 1911, and retired in March of 1923 after 25 years of service.
