Left-Hand Photo: Shown here is F.W. Blauvelt's photo of the "Pennsylvania Special" passing through Jersey City, New Jersey, on 15 June 1902. It's powered by engine #1395, a D-16A (4-4-0) "American" built in Juniata during May of 1898, rebuilt as a D-16 in October of 1911, and retired in March of 1923 after 25 years of service.
