| SRS. Here is an original telephoto view that I took of the Pennsylvania Railroad's Samuel Rea Shop in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on 7 July 1964. The autorack cars visible at the far right are marshalled for repair at the Berwind-White Railroad Car Shops. Visible in the distance is a portion of the Borough of Hollidaysburg, as well as the three steeples for (R to L) the Presbyterian Church, the Blair County Court House, and the Blair County Jail. Also visible through the haze are the eastern slopes of the Allegheny Mountains. This westerly view taken from atop Bald Hill. |
