AMTK "Amtrak 906," GG-1, 1975         
Here is a postal card entitled "Amtrak 906." No Postmark. Caption On Reverse: "One of the famous Pennsylvania Railroad GG-1's, in Amtrak's Silver Mist color scheme, heads up a train in the Northeast Corridor. The short consist indicates the electric and train are running a Metroliner schedule in 1975. Tony Organek photo ~ Carl M. Sturner Collection." #906 is a GG-1 (2-C-C-2) built in Juniata as number "4903" during May of 1940, rated at 4,620 horsepower, and presently on display at the Museum of the American Railroad in Dallas, Texas. (The actual location of this photo is not recorded.)
