AMTK 906, GG-1, 1976 |
Description: |
Amtrak. Here is an original photo that I took of an Amtrak passenger train in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on 30 August 1976. Shown here is Amtrak engine #906, a GG-1 built by the Pennsylvania Railroad in Juniata as number "4903" during May of 1940, rated at 4,620 horsepower, and later renumbered AMTK "906." In this context, it's pulling a westbound passenger train into the Station. |
